1. Prepare documentation, including product manuals, installation and operating instructions, preferably in Russian. Prove that the equipment has been quality inspected. Transport documents, including invoices, packing lists, transport contracts, etc.
2. Make logistics arrangements and choose the appropriate mode of transport (usually rail or sea) according to the distance and size of the lathe. Ensure that the equipment is safely loaded on the transport vehicle and use appropriate fixings to prevent movement and vibration.
3. Purchase transportation insurance for the equipment to prevent damage during transportation. Prepare and submit necessary customs declaration documents, including export declaration, commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin. Ensure that all documents meet Russian import requirements.
