The CK0640 CNC Lathe is a compact flat-bed turning machine built on a high-rigidity bed. With 250 mm swing over bed, a 48 mm spindle bore and 220 mm Z stroke, it turns small precision parts in one setup while taking up very little floor space.
The CK0640 CNC Lathe is a compact, high-rigidity flat-bed turning machine designed for small precision parts and small-to-medium batch production. It swings 250 mm over the bed and 120 mm over the slide, and the 48 mm spindle bore accepts bar stock up to 40 mm through the hollow chuck pull rod. With only 220 mm of Z stroke and an overall footprint of 1620 × 1340 × 1680 mm, the machine is sized to sit on a small workshop floor rather than demand a dedicated bay. A high-precision spindle, precision ball screws and linear guideways give it the positioning accuracy of a much larger lathe.
Most of the cost of a precision turning cell is not the lathe — it is the floor space around it. The CK0640 is built on a compact, high-rigidity bed that keeps the casting stiff while shrinking the machine envelope to 1620 × 1340 × 1680 mm. That makes it practical to install several units side by side, or to place one in a cell alongside existing equipment without re-planning the shop. The short 220 mm Z stroke is deliberate: it keeps the saddle close to the bed, which is where a lathe is stiffest, so the machine holds tolerance on small diameters that a long-travel lathe tends to chatter on.
The CK0640 uses a high-precision spindle together with precision ball screws and linear guideways on the feed axes. The result is high positioning accuracy, low-friction motion and a smooth, repeatable cut. In production terms that shows up as tighter dimensional spread on shafts, sleeves and threaded parts, and as a lower scrap rate across a shift. Because the machine completes turning, facing, external and internal machining, grooving and threading in one setup, every operation removed from the process is also a datum error removed from the part.
The machine ships with a GSK CNC system as standard and can be supplied with FANUC or Siemens controls where the operator prefers a familiar platform. The standard configuration is a manual chuck with a tool holder; a four-station turret and a hydraulic chuck are available as options. For unattended running, an automatic bar feeder can be fitted so the lathe keeps producing without an operator loading each workpiece. That means the same CK0640 can start as a stand-alone turning machine and later be grown into a lightly automated production cell without replacing it.
The CK0640 is used in automotive parts, electronics and electrical appliances, medical devices, hardware processing, instrumentation, machinery manufacturing, mould components and general precision parts production. It is particularly suited to volume production of shafts, sleeves, discs, connectors and threaded components. It machines carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium alloys and copper alloys. The actual application depends on the workpiece material, size and machining requirements.

A full-size CNC lathe is wasteful for parts that are 50 mm across. The CK0640 turns those parts on a machine that swings 250 mm over the bed, accepts 40 mm bar through a 48 mm spindle bore and occupies only 1620 × 1340 mm of floor, while still using precision ball screws and linear guideways instead of a budget carriage. It is the machine for shops that need real CNC accuracy on small parts, several units at once, or an operator-free bar-fed cell. Overseas after-sales service and CE certified machines are provided.
